Singer/songwriter/musician Audley Rollen has been honing his craft from the early days of Horace Andy, Dennis Brown and Robbie Shakespeare. To date, Rollen has nine solo albums to his credit, including his latest, ‘Just For You,’ produced by the veteran Harry Mudie. This new effort has it all. Rollen has recorded this definitive Lover’s Rock collection with a sprinkling of gospel cuts such as ‘Seek Him First,’ ‘God Is Standing By,’ ‘Live And Let Live,’ and ‘Have Mercy On Me.’ This 17 track album is filled with original lyrics, melodies and arrangements. Rollen adopted the rhythms from Mudie’s vault and did two covers, ‘Riding For A Fall” from John Holt and ‘God Is Standing By” from Al Green.
